天翼除了提供星期一到星期四的教育课程之外,还有每周五的Friday Fun Time,天翼校长为了让娃们一解相思之愁,特别安排每周五不同的老师讲故事,一起唱唱跳跳学歌曲,讲故事。孩子们从屏幕里看到自己的老师分外高兴,共同度过了快乐的时光。虽然不能上学去,但是一样能感受到娃们学习的热诚,舞动的细胞活跃地跳动着。

For Individual Recital
On a
3×5″ index card (or similar), write your child’s name and poem title (in
Chinese and Pinyin). This will be given to the contest master to introduce your
child to the judges.

Parking
Free parking
without a permit is allowed in any green parking space on the
weekend. Lot H on the west side of campus will be the closest to FO and HH. (If
you are not familiar with the UTD campus, please give yourself extra time. It
is a large campus with many buildings and parking lots.)
To
reach parking lot H, from Waterview Parkway, go east on Franklyn Jenifer Drive.
Turn left on Drive H. Lot H will be on the right.

Sign in and registration at HH.
12:30-12:50
Transition to FO classrooms for individual competition
1:00-2:30
Individual competition starts. (Do not be late. Once competition starts,
you may not enter the room.)
2:00-3:30
Group competition in HH. (During group competition, students will wait outside
of the auditorium with their teacher until their recital time. Parents may stay
to watch all group recitals.)

3:45-4:30
Award ceremony in HH.
Other points to remember:
-No
food and drink in the classrooms. Water in a closed bottle is allowed.
-Parents must supervise your children at all times. Judges and
teachers are not responsible for the children.
-Out of
respect for other contestants, please remain quiet during other students’
recitals.
-Per the judges’ requirement, children under 3 are not allowed in the room during the competition. They may remain outside in the hallway.
-Music accompaniment and /or singing will not be allowed. This is a speaking / poetry competition and words must be spoken.
-Please wear black shoes and white socks.
-Judges will not allow pictures during the contest. We will have professional photographers.
